Nacional Telefonos de Venezuela CA (CANTV) is a State-nationalized Venezuelan company primarily engaged in the telecommunications sector. The Company's services and products are oriented towards businesses and individuals and they include local and international fixed telephony, mobile telephony, broadband Internet access, data and telephony networks management, long distance calling cards and public telephony, among others. Additionally, the Company offers information technology (IT) consulting services. The Company's facilities comprise a fiber optic network, as well as a frame relay network established primarily in the north of Venezuela. The Company is a parent of Corporacion CANTV, which also includes the operations of Telecomunicaciones Movilnet CA (Movilnet), CANTV.NET CA and CA Venezolana de Guias (Caveguias).
