Changes at ALSO:

Strengthening the organization from within

As part of the MORE strategy, ALSO Holding is strengthening the focused development of its business models (3S). To this end, the Supply, Solutions and Service business models will be staffed with experienced managers from within the company.

Volkan Weissenberg, previously SVP Supply Services, will take over the ALSO web shop. The aim is to expand its portfolio both in terms of breadth and depth. Gustavo Möller-Hergt, CEO of ALSO Holding (SIX: ALSN): "His experience in vendor management as well as the precise knowledge of competitive products relevant to resellers are the best prerequisites for his new role". Michael Gericks, formerly SVP Consumptional Business, will be responsible for the vendor management as SVP. Driven by the cloud business, subscription models are becoming increasingly important in the traditional supply business, whether in the area of hybrid cloud architectures or Device-as-a-Service. With his background, Gericks will set new impulses in the supply business.

Simone Blome-Schwitzki, former Spokeswoman of the Management Board of ALSO Germany, will in the future manage the Solutions business model at a European level. Gustavo Möller-Hergt: "Simone knows our ecosystem very well. She is as familiar with the vendors' portfolio as she is with the challenges and opportunities for our resellers. She is an esteemed partner for both sides and therefore ideally suited to successfully expand this business model on an international level with her expertise."

Jan Bogdanovich has been appointed SVP Consumptional Business. As a manager who played a key role in the development and programming of the ALSO Cloud Marketplace (ACMP), he will systematically enhance the ACMP's portfolio and further optimize the functionalities for resellers.

Tom Casaer, Managing Director of the ALSO IoT platform AllThingsTalk, will be responsible for the expansion and development of the IoT business at group level. "The fundamental interest in IoT is enormous. However, companies often find it difficult to identify practical use cases. Tom will be a valuable source of inspiration for them", Gustavo Möller-Hergt explains.

All changes will be implemented on 1 July 2020.
